The weekend that was....

thursday -last day of class...who cares....
took the bus home...btw...i've been taking te bus more often cuz the strikes are finally over and i don't NEED to waste gas no mo' than I have to.

Friday- I drove cuz I was going to be on campus later than I had to.
friday is usually my all work day at the "blah" (i'm not telling you where I work!). So I signed up to proctor te Law School finals as well...and they had a review session for us proctors. Damn homie....these peeps have money to spend like no other.

I see Alex and Andy....two new recent friends of mine...they are also proctoring, so that'll be fun fun fun...

Went back to work and then helped proctor the placement exams....nice long and boring...

Funny thing is my bosses are Iraqi's and they have a strong accent and attitude. So when they speak they have that Iraqi sense. All though they mean well...sometimes....ok no...all the time...it comes off rude to people. And most of the time they need to be strit in order to get everyone attention and make sure they follow directions. With that said...you have youngster placing into language and math's etc and they hear this guy give attitude...so they give attitude back.

Silly kids.

In retaliation...my boss says clearly..."you either want to take this test or not...you may leave right now."

ahhhhh fun fun fun.

That night was Winter Wonderland at Parkside. I assisted in getting the DJ....Eid Banquet's Dj, KrazeeVybes to DJ. Since they did Bhangra Nights, Parkside peeps liked them. In doing so, the Residential Coordinator, Michelle, invted them and us to dinner at Parkside...now...when you get free dinner at Parkside....YOU TAKE IT!!!

Parkside Apts/Dorms are new and so is the dining facilities. All you can eat top of the line campus food in that hood. Plus that night was upgaded menus cuz of the last day of school and winter wonderland...sweeeetnesss...the oreo desert....to die for....

moving on...

my friends on teh SC bhangra team performed at the winter wonderland and I was about to go to irvine for a get together....until my homie there said it wasn't worth it...so I stayed on campus chillin' cuz it would be a long drive anyway. I was also going to proctor the SAT's the next morning at SC anyway.

So I slept over and actually woke up on time to proctor thanks to my cell phone alarm, dera, and ily. Each in 10 minute snooze intervals. My supervisor of that room was one of the cool chicas from campus, I shall call her "blondie", from associate director of campus activities. (BTW if you didnt know...every proctor has a supervisor of that room) We played hangman etc...chill time...

Afterwards I went to 433...and waited for the SC/Oregon St. game to start. We kicked butt as usual...

Saturday night was my aunts Eid Party...my Sierra/Sakhi Family was coming to hang out. Got all dressed up and went over...everythign was normal and chill....peeps playing carroms etc. After dinner we played mafia and trivial pursuit. Neel my little buddy and his cooky head came up with these "Warm up games"
